In May of 2007, we were honored to be able to help raise money for the 2007 Griese/Hutchinson Champions for Children's Hearts Celebrity Golf Tournament. We rescued a beautiful yellow lab "Maizey Blue", who was a two time reject from a local animal shelter. Maizey had many issues that we helped her resolve prior to donating her for the auction. In addition to Maizey, we donated in-home training, dog food, a leash, a crate and a beautiful piece of furniture from www.cratehaven.com.

Maizey helped raise over $1500 of the $250,000 that day during the live auction. As you can see from the photos, she was very popular with the players and coaches alike. Maziey was adopted by a local family and continues to be a success in their home. Maizey's owners are currently working to achieve "Canine Good Citizen" and "Therapy Dog" designations in order to be able to take her back to the hospital to see the kids.
